Bohnert Family
A farm family! Oh, how I love these shoots...Meet the Bohnerts, first-generation dairy farmers. I always enjoy chatting with the first generation. They're passionate about hard work. They're excited about involving their children. They're committed to the farm way of life. It's contagious!In an email, Karen said, "We are a family whose love is centered around Jersey cows. It's the heart of who we are. So I want to tie that in." And we did. And it turned out to be one of my favorite shoots, ever: 
This is Tyler. He didn't love having his picture taken, but he loved his cows. And well, that worked just fine for me.
Poor Tyler's shirt served as a Kleenex for this cow! Thankfully, I was able to edit out the snot in most photos! ;) 
Miss Cassie, so sweet and spunky, jumps right in. She's all farm girl, that's for sure! 
And the littlest, Jacob, so eager to follow in the footsteps of big brother and sister... 
...wanted a photo with the cow all by himself. After a few face-licks, we got one!
My favorite, hands down. All the personality. All the love. All the fun. All the farm. Love, love, love!
